Volunteering at KUNI/KHKE gives you the opportunity to meet on-air personalities, behind the scenes staffers and other
KUNI/KHKE supporters like yourself. You'll get to see the state of the art facilities
in Cedar Falls including the on-air studios and some of the newest premiums. Volunteers come from all age groups (our youngest volunteer
has been a grade-schooler!). Many are dedicated individuals who are retirees or
can take a couple hours off work. Some are students who join us after classes,
some are people who need to complete community service hours. Some folks
volunteer as a group project. All are KUNI/KHKE listeners.
(The photo above, left was taken during a recent on-air pledge
drive. The one on the right was our booth at the Mississippi Valley Blues
Festival staffed by volunteers.)
