Become a KUNI/KHKE Volunteer!

Friends make great
programming happen!

Volunteering at KUNI/KHKE gives you the opportunity to meet on-air personalities, behind the scenes staffers and other KUNI/KHKE supporters like yourself. You'll get to see the state of the art facilities in Cedar Falls including the on-air studios and some of the newest premiums. Volunteers come from all age groups (our youngest volunteer has been a grade-schooler!). Many are dedicated individuals who are retirees or can take a couple hours off work. Some are students who join us after classes, some are people who need to complete community service hours. Some folks volunteer as a group project. All are KUNI/KHKE listeners.

(The photo above, left was taken during a recent on-air pledge drive. The one on the right was our booth at the Mississippi Valley Blues Festival staffed by volunteers.)

If you would like to join the volunteer community, please take a look at the following job descriptions and let us know which positions sound appealing. We'll get back to you by email or phone as soon as possible. For more information, call 1-800-772-2440 ext. 0.
